I have started to pull out some of my craft stuff again.
I used to love doing craft stuff, I just suddenly stopped for some reason. I decided it is high time to get back into it again. First I saw this cute Valentine Garland on the
Our Best Bites Website. Elena and I
worked hard cutting and positioning ribbon, hearts and buttons. We were so excited to hang it up and then....it just didn't look right. Every where we hung it,
it was just kind of boring or something??? I think I concluded that our house is kind of big and one piece of ribbon with hearts doesn't really do much to say...I am all decorated for Valentines. So then I decided to make
some more garland my own way. I got some red yarn, and ripped up some fabric I already had and tided it on the yarn. Ya, it was that easy and I LOVE
how it turned out. So much that I spent another 15 making another strand of it to hang in a different area. Now between all the garland, it all looks really cute!!!!!
For the kids teachers for
Valentines, I saw this cute idea an a blog somewhere and I can't for the life of me find it again. But I was able to remember/figure
out how to make these simple cheep easy gift boxes from a paper plate. So cute!!! And they held several heart sugar cookies perfectly.
