There was also an adult only section called Serenity. You have to get up at the crack of dawn to stake your place here, but at night...we had our pickings. We loved to cuddle up in these awesome chairs and look at the stars and hear the waves. Amazing!!!
Elena could not stop talking about getting an umbrella drink. We kept promising we would and then we would run out of time, or be too full. Finally we knew we had to do it. So we ordered one for kind of a brunch time. She was thrilled!!!!
I enjoyed mine in bed!!! LOL!!
Before dinner there was a Jazz band in the lounge, so we stopped for a listen. Cody is at that age, that he is too old to act like a toddler, but too wiggly to sit still. I don't know how to explain that sometimes the way he acts makes him look challenged when he is....well doing the things he does. I wonder if having Cody see himself, might help me explain that to him. LOL!!!
After the Jazz Band, Matt ran to our room, while me and the kids got seated at our table. Matt was taking forever to come!!! Finally he came and said he got sidetracked watching the sun start to set.
He wanted to show me, but we were worried about leaving the kids in the dinning room by themselves. The kids assured us they were fine and to just go see the sun set. We hurried up a flight of stairs to an outside deck. The sun was still pretty far from setting, but we enjoyed the moment and we were happy our kids encourage us to do so!!! How blessed we are!!!
We were sad to say good bye to our waiters, they always made dinning so much fun and were so good to us.
It is so amazing to see all the diversities of culture of the crew of the ship. Most crew leave their families for 6-8 months at a time to work. Our waiter for instance has a wife and an 8 month old baby at home, that he will get to see in July. Can you imagine!! What a great dad working hard and sacrificing for his family.
Of course no dinner would be complete without the Warm Chocolate Melting Cake!!!
Durring the night/very early morning, I woke up and saw the full moon above the ocean. What a sight. I woke Matt up to show him. I rolled over and went back to sleep, Matt went out and sat on the balcony for a bit and got this picture. Of course as always the picture doesn't do it justice, but what a sight it was!!!
