had some friends over for Christmas
Eve, but the kids were bummed because their kids were spending Christmas Eve with their other mom. But we enjoyed their company. And we had my mom here too. We did the usual stuff...
Christmas Bingo,
The Grab Box, The manger scene...if you can call it that. Played Don't Eat Pete (which Elena would get her feelings hurt every time she ate Pete.) and ate a LOT of food!!! I really shouldn't wait this long to post, b
ecause I forget a lot of the details. But the part that stands out the most is just being with the ones I love. Seriously, how am I sooo blessed!! We also frosted cookies for Santa and left Chocolate milk per the Santa at the Bass Pro Shops request. (I forgot to take a picture of Santa's plate....darn.) Oh ya, and Cody and Elena each got a special email from Santa. They were totally mesmerized at the video Santa sent to them of him at the North Pole talking to each of them. So cool. After that Cody was crazy with excitement and couldn't sleep. He finally crashed under his desk after reading a couple a dozen
books. Elena fell asleep quickly.
Matt and I cuddled up and watch While You Were Sleeping...Classic!! And somewhere in there Santa must of come!!!
