Matt is a
pyro, that is all there is to it. And having a fire pit is actually my way of being proactive and accommodating to his pyrotechnics . That way when Matt needs to burn something he has

a place to do it, otherwise he gets creative:/ For example, when we lived in California we had ants

living under the tile counter tops. My way of dealing with the ants was a bottle of Lysol Kitchen. I would spray to kill or stun them and then get a paper towel

and wipe them up. Matt's way, was using Pam Cooking Spray and a match. Now you know what I mean when I say having a fire pit is a major
necessity at our house. So as we started mapping out what and where we
wa
nted things in our back yard, we knew the fire pit must be completed quickly. Cody was a great helper when it came time to make the fire pit. And it was finished just in time for your "n
ormal" fire building season to be over. But for us it had just began. Who said winter is not a great time to roast some Hot Dogs and have
S'mores. Yummy! Now if only Matt could find some tumble weeds, we just don't grow them like we did in Sierra Vista. Now those burn!!!
Even Cody's and Matt's hats have flames on them. Whew you got that fire pit just in time!
ReplyDeleteSo funny!
ReplyDeletefunny, Matt got those hats a some meeting he went to. When they do fix it jobs together Cody thinks it is so fun to have the same hats.
ReplyDeleteThat is a terrific idea for a fire pit. We may just steal it. Tony too is a pyro. In HS on one of our first dates he almost started his feet on fire. Long, dumb story!
ReplyDeletelots of fun!
ReplyDeleteThat's funny, Lori! You guys seem to always have fun!
ReplyDeleteSpencer does the same thing with fire. His preferd spray of choice is WD-40. He takes it out in the back yard to get all the black widows.
