We

had a great Christmas Eve! We had Dad home all day and enjoyed relaxing and getting things prepped for the big day. We then took off to go to the Christmas Eve Party at Matt's parents house. As we were living

out of state we carried on the traditions of the Christmas Eve Party, complete with ALL the food. However it was just Matt and I and baby Cody and later baby Elena, so we had a lot of food to cook and eat. So I was quite content only making my Seven Layer Bean Dip....actually eight layer. As you can imagine the house was crazy with all of the excited

cousins riling each other up. My point and shoot camera was on some weird mode and all my pictures turned out blurry. From the cousins presents Cody got his first Bakugon...later to be followed by a few others from Mom and Dad on Christmas Morning. And Elena got a princess dress up,

which she started undressing

the second she saw it. Finally Cody's wait was over, as he was

the last one to get a Christmas Bingo. Way to stick it out kid! We read the Christmas Story and acted out the Manger Scene. Then we had the Grab Box, which is always my favorite! The kids loved their new books! We then loaded up and headed home so that Santa wouldn't have to pass us by. We set out Cookies and Carrots for Santa and his Reindeer and Cody even made a

"To Go Bag" for Santa... What a thoughtful idea. Matt's parents decided to sleep over so that they could fit us into their busy Christmas Day schedule. So much fun seeing Cody and all of his excitement and seriousness about the Christmas Events. It is so fun to be a mom!
