Our House

I know, I know, I am way over due posting pictures of our new house. Well folks, here are a few. I actually took these last month right after we moved in, so we have made a few minor adjustments since these were taken. This house holds us perfectly with room to grow. After building our house in Arizona and customizing with all the colors and styles that we wanted, it was hard to look at existing houses. All were very beautiful, but each one had something that was not my most favorite. This house on the other hand had it all. There are little things that we would like to do and buy, (the big square table, leather sectional, and much, much, more… but we have our whole lives for that. I was happy to see that our second hand couches and newly wed table look ok and will continue to get plenty of use. I was a smidgen bummed that the basement was finished, because I was really looking forward to roller skating and riding bikes down there. But that disappointment only lasted a moment, because it is so nice to have the TV down there and room for anyone and everyone. We also have a bonus room, that we are using as a play room, and in the future I will teach Kindermusik in. It is perfect space for that because it also has it own bathroom. The outside pictures look kind of dreary, because it was a really dreary day, but it really is a happy house and we love the memories that are already starting to fill the walls of our home.

  1. Yes, houses hold great memories. For me, your house has the feel of the kind of style that houses had when I was very young. Yet I know it is very new. It was very nice being at your house.

  4. What a beautiful home! I love the dark wood of the cabinets. I think you have a great attitude about having your whole life to get all the stuff for the house you want.
