Somehow w

e are always rushed to dye eggs. We finally squeezed some time in on Saturday evening to get them colored.

It went well and Cody really took over things and helped Elena with lowering them and getting them out of the color. The next morning, the first

thing out of Cody's mouth when he woke up was...Did you not know I've had the
Diarrheas since Easters. (from Nacho
Libre) After hearing that I knew this was going to be a great day! We had the late church so we were able to have

a super nice relaxing Easter Morning. The kids were anxious to find there Easter Bask
ets.

Cody's was in the

coat closet and Elena's was in this entry table thing. They LOVED their Easter baskets. Elena got two princess dolls and Cody got two small Star Wars Lego sets and lots and lots of candy. We did a fun Easter Egg hunt all around the house. Elena had on several p

princess dresses....which is not unusual for her. Not really sure how our fun Easter traditions have to do with Jesus and his resurrection, but I do know I love the family time and I am sure that makes Jesus really happy! Along those lines, I am really grateful for my Savior, it is because of him that I can be with my family forever!
Here is a short video of the Easter Egg Hunt.
Wow, I am impressed that Elena could get five dresses on! I'm sure that only a TRUE princess can do that. Johnny loved watching the video. I think that he must miss visiting Cody.
