Soccer Socks

Cody is having fun playing soccer this year. We seem to have made huge improvements over last years season. First off, his first game he actually had an idea of what he was going to be doing. Last year, on the way to his first game, Cody asked....is soccer a game I play with my hands or my feet? We also had to start about 30 min ahead to get his shin guards, socks and shoes on. Now Cody can do most of it by himself. And as far as the game itself.....well this is what happened for most of the game last year. Aren't they just so cute! We have some really great memories of our fun times and Friends in California. The games here in Utah are a lot easier, just 3 on 3, no goalies and a smaller field. Cody's team, Blue Thunder has won every game. So it has been fun for Cody to be on the winning team. Cody still mostly following the others, but is starting to get more aggressive and not so afraid of playing the game. He has even scored two goals, with a little help from one of his team mates :) And Elena has fun going and cheering the team on! She is always yelling out Cody!!!! Cody!!!!! What fun times these are.
