Halloween

On Friday we went to Matt’s work for trick or treating with the residents. The kids got tons of candy in a very short amount of time. Being the boss's kids only helped in the rapid accumulation of candy. It is fun to see the residents enjoying all the kids and their costumes. I was in a RUSH to get home for a meeting, so we didn't' get any pictures. As you can see in our little family picture Matt's mullet. I think he like waring it a little too much. "All business up front and party in the back" right Matt? When we were at Matt's work, Elena just stared at Matt and then after she heard him talk and saw his mannerisms, she got a big smile on her face and said....A Hair. It was really cute! On Halloween night, we went to Matt’s moms house for chili and some trick or treating. The kids had fun running house to house and trick or treating with their cousins. That is something they never had the chance to do when we lived out of state. We then hurried home so we could hand out candy and trick or treat in our neighborhood. Cody was a pirate and Elena was a lady bug. Yes these were the same costumes as last year. I figured Hey…they still fit and plus… different state, different friends, no will know the difference. We had a very Happy Halloween, or as Elena would say….Happyeeen. To see how the kids have grown since last year you can click here

As far as disgusting goes....Matt just HAD to make this Kitty Litter Cake. It was a little too realistic for me, maybe because I am the one who has to scoop ours here at home. Needless to say, I did not have any and that is coming from one who LOVES cake!
